Email Campaigns
Create Email Campaigns Template
- Navigate to "Campaigns" from your Admin Panel directly.
- Then Select "Email" to view the various functions for running an email campaign.
- Click "Add New Email Template".
- Then, mention your Campaign Goal
Examples of good campaign goals might include "Get guests to come to my restaurant on their birthdays and get 5% off" or "Invite customers who haven't been to my restaurant in a while to come back with a 5% discount". - Then Add the Email Subject, Email text (content) and you can also add an Image to your campaign email.
- Then click "Save" to save the email template for the campaign.
You can get suggestions from AI to get a good content for your campaigns (Email & SMS) by just adding your Campaign goal >then click on "Generate Using AI" > "Generate".
You can create substitutions to make your emails more personalized. For example, instead of saying "Dear Guest" you could say "Dear [Name],"in order to use the user's actual name. Next, set the Substitution 1 Field Name to "Name", the "Replace With" dropdown to "Name" and the Default Value to "Guest".
You can use a max of 3 substitutions per email template.
View, Edit, Disable or Delete your Email Templates
You can View, edit, disable or delete any of the Email campaigns you have already created.
Once you access the Campaign Tab > then select Email > you will be able to view all your campaign templates:
You can click on Edit to change any of the template details
or "Delete the Email Campaign Template" permanently (This action is irreversible)
or "Disable Email Campaign Template", noting that you can enable it again any time by accessing the Inactive Campaigns and then click on "Enable Email Campaign Template"
Now, you have your email campaign templates ready to use whenever you want to release a new campaign.
Next step will be adding new Email Campaigns
Add New Email Campaign
- From "Campaigns" tab > Emails > and scroll down until the Email Campaigns section, then click "Add New Email Campaign".
- Click the "Name" field and add a name for this campaign.
- Go to "Scheduling" and specify the time when the email should be sent.
- Go to Email Template and select one of the Campaign Templates from the drop-down menu.
(The dropdown menu will include all the Email Campaign templates you have previously created and activated). - If you want to send other emails as a sequence, repeat the same for "Email 2" and "Email 3", but if you don't want to send a 2nd or 3rd Email, use the "Do Not Send Email" button.
- Make sure to select your targeted Audience for this campaign, you can either select "All Users" or "Manually Select Users"
- Final step, click "Save" to save the email campaign settings.
Automated Email Sequence for New Users
This option allows you to automatically subscribe newly collected users to an email sequence in order to re-engage with your existing customers, acquire new customers and grow your customer retention & revenue.
Noting that the first email will be sent out 6 hours after customer subscribes. Subsequent emails will be sent out with one-month intervals - you can specify a maximum of 6 emails to be sent out, for 6 months from the date the user subscribes to the mailing list.
Here is how to manage automated Email Sequence:
- Go to "Campaigns" tab > Emails > and scroll down until you find the "Automated Email Sequence for New Users" section.
- Then, click on "Enable Automated Email Sequence" to enable this feature.
- Click "Template" and select the required campaign template from the drop-down menu.
- You can schedule multiple emails within the sequence which will be sent out with one-month intervals for each Email.
- Repeat the same process for each email (Select the Template) or click on the "Do Not Send Email" button iif you don't want to send the other emails.
- To save your updates, you must click on "Update Automated Sequence"
- For each Email, you can always view the insights of the emails sent, such as how many times this Email has been delivered, opened, or clicked by the client.
SMS Campaigns
Create SMS Campaign Templates
The process of creating SMS campaigns is similar to the steps of the Email Campaigns,
- Navigate to "Campaigns" from your Admin Panel directly then Select "SMS".
- Scroll down to the "SMS Templates" section and then click "Add New SMS Template"
- Navigate to the "Campaign Goal" field and enter your campaign goals.
- Move to the "SMS Text" field to enter the content of your SMS.
- Then, click "Save" to save the settings.
You can use substitutions to make your SMS messages more personalized.
Ex.: Instead of saying "Dear Guest" you SMS can be: "Dear [Actual Name],"
