Our plugins make the integration with our payment gateway very easy by providing a ready-made and easy-to-install plugin that enables you to be ready and go with a few steps to get you up and running with your business.


In this article, we will walk you through how to change the order payment/transaction type to be either captured automatically after the payment directly, which depends on the "Sale" mode, or capture it manually from your store as "Auth/Cap" mode usually operates. 


Through out the article we will use the transaction types clarified in our What is "tran_type"? solution article.




    

To configure the order payment/transaction type, kindly follow the below steps:


  1. From your Shopify store admin panel, navigate to Settings -> Payments.
  2. Then click on the "Manage" button under the "Payment Capture" section.

  3. After that, you can choose the "Manually" mode for activating the PayTabs' "Auth/Cap" mode, then click on the "Save" button. Otherwise, you can choose the "Automatically" mode instead to allow the direct capturing of payments as the PayTabs' "Sale" mode usually operates.
    Activating the "Manually" mode will lead to authorizing the transaction ONLY after the payment. You will have to manually capture the transactions to complete payment.

  4. The orders payment status will be tagged as "Authorized" if the "Manually" capture mode was activated, and "Paid" for otherwise as shown below"
    1. "Manually" order payment status.
    2. "Automatically" order payment status.
