Accessing and Managing Your PayLinks
Effortlessly stay on top of your payment requests by navigating the PayLinks dashboard. Here's how to locate and review your PayLinks with clarity and ease:
- Navigate to PayLinks: From the Home page, on the Payments section you can select PayLinks to enter your payment link dashboard.
- Browse Your PayLinks: View a comprehensive list of all previously created PayLinks—organized for quick access and transaction tracking.
- Review PayLink Details: Each PayLink displays essential information at a glance:
- Title
- Creation Date
- Amount
- Description
Creating a New PayLink
Generate payment requests with ease using the Paymes Supper App. Just follow these streamlined steps:
- Navigate to PayLinks: From the Home screen, head to the Payments section and click on PayLinks.
- Start a New PayLink: Tap the "+" icon to initiate a new PayLink creation.Enter Basic Details: Fill in the essential fields
- Amount
- Currency
- Title
- Expand Extra Options (Optional): Click on Open Extra Fields to add advanced settings and enrich your PayLink with:
- Cart ID / Description / Return URL: Track transactions and set a redirection page destination after payment.
- Requires Shipping: Collect the buyer’s shipping details for physical deliveries.
- Donation Mode: Enable flexible amounts within a preset range—perfect for charity or tipping.
- OpenGraph: Customize how the PayLink appears on social media with meta tags and preview content.
- Discount: Offer fixed or percentage-based discounts to promote sales, based on the first 4-6 card BIN digits.
- Card Filter: Limit accepted card types by BIN numbers for more control, based on the first 4-6 card BIN digits.
- Payment Method Filter: Choose which payment options appear on checkout (like Apple Pay or installments). To control the methods, enter a comma-separated list of the methods to enable or disable.
- Enable: Use the method name by itself or with a + prefix.
- Disable: Use the method name with a - prefix.
- For example:
- to enable all methods except for installments set the filter for: all,-installments
- To enable one specific method only, put only that method in the list: mada.
- Save and Share: Once all necessary details are completed, hit Create to finalize and share the PayLink with your clients through your preferred channel.
- Sharing Options: After saving, you'll be redirected to the View PayLink screen. From here, you can share it using one of the following options:
- Copy and paste the link wherever you want.
- Convert it into a QR Code for easy scanning.
- Share directly via available apps on your device such as WhatsApp, Email, or Social Media platforms.
Editing a PayLink
Keep your PayLinks up to date with ease. Whether you're adjusting a price, updating a description, or modifying advanced settings, here's how to quickly edit any existing PayLink:
- Navigate to PayLinks: From the Home screen, head to the Payments section and click on PayLinks.
- Select an Existing PayLink: Browse your PayLinks list and choose the one you wish to modify.
- Enter Edit Mode: Tap the pen icon at the top-right corner of the PayLink details page.
- Make Your Changes: Update the necessary fields, then click Edit PayLink to save your changes.
- Share After Edit: Once updated, you're redirected to the View PayLink screen where you can share it instantly:
- Copy and paste the link wherever needed.
- Generate a QR Code for convenient offline sharing.
- Send directly through apps on your device—WhatsApp, Email, Facebook, and more.
PayLinks cannot be deleted from your history, ensuring a complete record of all shared links.
PayLinks are reusable, meaning you can send the same link to multiple customers to pay for the same product or service.
PayLinks Supported Optional Features
PayLinks come packed with optional features to tailor the payment experience for your customers. Enable only the fields that match your business needs or transaction goal
Extra Fields (Free Text)
- Cart ID: You can assign a unique identifier assigned to a specific shopping cart or transaction to manage your orders more efficiently.
- Return URL: Define the URL where customers will be redirected after completing (or abandoning) the payment. A POST response will be sent, containing basic transaction info for final processing.
- Cart Description: Add a description with details about the product or service you're offering.
Requires Shipping
Enable this if your product requires delivery. Customers will be prompted to enter their shipping address during checkout.
If disabled, shipping info won’t be required.
Donation Mode
Ideal for charitable payments or flexible tipping.
Set a minimum and maximum donation range that customers can freely choose from.
OpenGraph
Enhance how your PayLink appears when shared on platforms like Facebook and X:
- Customize the preview’s title, description, and image.
- Upload a high-resolution, unique image per PayLink.
- When enabled, sharing buttons appear on your dashboard.
Customers clicking these links will see an enriched preview—boosting engagement and trust.
Discount
Apply fixed or percentage-based discounts. Target specific cardholders using card prefixes (e.g., 40000, 41111) in the discount cards field, along with the statement that will be displayed to the customer matches the discount condition.
Card Filter
Specify which card types can be used for payment based on their BIN (first few digits).
Useful for restricting access or segmenting by card issuer.
Payment Method Filter
Customize the payment options shown at checkout. By default, all available methods are enabled, but you can choose exactly which ones to offer (e.g., Apple Pay, Installments, Wallets).
To control the methods, enter a comma-separated list of the methods to enable or disable.
- Enable: Use the method name by itself or with a + prefix.
- Disable: Use the method name with a - prefix.
