PayTabs plugins make the integration with the PayTabs payment gateway very easy by providing a ready-made and easy-to-install plugin that enables you to be ready and go with a few steps to get you up and running with your business.
In this article, we will walk you through how to manage the frame/embed mode on your website/store's checkout page so that you can display our hosted payment page within your same checkout page without redirecting the customer to the PayTabs external payment page, as shown below. Kindly follow the below steps to learn how to manage this configuration option:
If this option is not shown in the selected payment method (such as "PayTabs - ApplePay") configuration page, that's mean that this payment method doesn't support/work-in iFrames
- From the OpenCart admin panel, go to the "Extensions" menu, then select "Extensions" from the dropdown menu.
- After that, select "Payments" from the dropdown list to locate the PayTabs extension as shown below:
- A list of all the payment extensions will display.
- Then, a list of all the payment extensions will display. You will have to click next the blue edit button next to the payment method you want to configure.
If it's not editable, then this means that you need to activate this payment method by clicking the green plus button next to the edit button and wait for the activation to complete. Then you have to choose the payment form type to be either a redirect page or an embedded form, as clarified below:
Choosing "Yes" will enable you to display the payment page within your website/store's checkout page (inner frame). After the customer fills in his card details and proceeds with the payment, this frame window will disappear, and a redirection to the return page (success page/cart page) will be performed.
On the other hand, if you choose "No", the customers will be redirected to the Paytabs payment page to proceed with the payment and will be redirected back to the return page (success page/cart page) after submitting their payment.
If this option is not shown in the selected payment method (such as "PayTabs - ApplePay") configuration page, that's mean that this payment method doesn't support/work-in iFramesYou will have to save your configuration information by clicking on the blue save icon button on the top left of the configuration, as shown below:
