With just a simple scan of the unique QR code at their table, diners can access the restaurant’s page, setting the stage for an effortless ordering journey. From there, they can easily navigate through the menu by scrolling and selecting their desired items from various categories, such as Appetizers, Mains, and Desserts.
Customers have the flexibility to customize their orders by adding extras or modifiers, viewing detailed item descriptions, and even deleting items if they change their minds. Special notes and tags—like Vegan, Allergens, or Dairy—are clearly displayed, ensuring diners can make informed choices based on their dietary preferences.
Additionally, the platform highlights recommended menu items, enhancing the dining experience with personalized suggestions. If assistance is needed, customers can quickly call a waiter for help, ensuring they receive prompt service

View the Menu
Customer scans the QR code on the table to view the menu and/or pay the bill. Each table should have a unique QR code.
Upon scanning the QR code the restaurant's cover page and logo should open up. Customer should then tap the screen to start viewing the menu and the ordering process.
Customer can navigate the menu by scrolling through their screen.
On the top of the page, the customer will view the categories (Sections) available at the restaurant (ex: Appetizers, Mains, Desserts).
Select their Order
Once the customer clicks on the desired section (Category), they will be able to view the available "Items" in this section and click on "Add" on the selected items so it can be added to their order.
Add Extras/ modifiers:
Customers can also add sauces, condiments, or any additional preferences offered (Extras suggested by the restaurant)
View Item Description
By clicking on the item itself, customers can view more details and the description of the item and Add it or Dismiss.
Delete Item
If they changed their mind for an item they have already added, they can click on the "delete" button beside the item.
Special Notes, Tags/ Alerts:
Customers can easily find out if the item has any Special notes, Tags or Alerts such as Vegan, Allergens, Dairy, Alcoholic, Not Available .... etc. Which can be labelled by the Restaurant via managing their menus.
Or they can simply add their special request as a special note once they click on "Place Order":
Recommended menu items
After the Categories part, customer will be able to view the new and/or recommended menu items and add it directly to their orders.
Call a Waiter/ Ask for help:
By clicking on the Call a Waiter button, customers can easily ask to communicate with waiters using the TAPnGO' platform:
