PayTabs plugins make the integration with the PayTabs payment gateway very easy by providing a ready-made and easy-to-install plugin that enables you to be ready and go with a few steps to get you up and running with your business.
In this article, we will walk you through how to control what will be the "Auth order" status on your WooCommerce website/store after it has been authenticated (authorized/successful payment). We highly recommend that you check our "3.1 - WooCommerce's Orders Workflow" solution article first to understand the business/logic this configuration option relay on. To manage this configuration option, kindly follow the below steps:
This option works only if the "Transaction Type" option is selected as "Auth".
This configuration option is supported only with the card payment methods such as Visa, MasterCard, Mada, Meeza...etc.
- From your WooCommerce admin panel on the left side, navigate to WooCommerce -> Settings.
Then, click on the "Payments" tab to display all payment methods.
After that, click on the "Manage" button to configure this payment method.
Then you will need to choose one of the listed statuses within the "Auth Order status" dropdown to configure this option.
Below are the available statuses that can be selected according to WooCommerce's Orders Workflow:
Status Its effect Default The order status will follow the normal WooCommerce flow. Pending Payment Used when the order is received, and no payment has been initiated yet. Awaiting payment (unpaid). Processing Used when the order payment is received (paid), and the stock is reduced, but the order is awaiting fulfillment.
All product orders require processing, except those that only contain products that are both Virtual and Downloadable.
On Hold Used when the order is received, and stock is reduced, but you need to confirm the payment. Completed Used only when the order is fulfilled and complete, and no further action will be required. Canceled Used when the order is canceled by an admin or the customer. Therefore the Stock will be increased, and no further action will be required. Refunded Used when the order amount is Refunded, and no further action will be required. Failed Used for order payment that failed or was declined/unpaid.
Finally, you will need to save your configuration information by clicking on the “Save Changes” button.
And here you are, done configuring the PayTabs' WooCommerce plugin with the appropriate authenticated order status for "Auth orders".
