PayTabs system allows you to apply discounts to specific cards, whether by creating invoices, Paylinks, or via integration using API endpoints.

How to apply discounts on PayLinks?

You can apply "Discount Cards " while generating Paylinks, to allow discounts on specific cards, Banks,...etc.
This option allows you either to apply a specific amount ( Example 20 AED) or a percentage (example 10 %).

 


You can edit the Paylink to remove or add the discount at any time



Step 1: enable the discount button

Step 2: Fill in the discount card prefixes of the cards you want to apply the discount for ( Ex. 4000,500000 ), separated by a comma (,) if you choose more than one card type.
Note: Each card discount cards prefix must be between 4 and 10 digits

 
Step 3: Choose whether you want to apply a "Discount amount" ( Fixed amount) or "Discount Percent" and add the amount accordingly.

Step 4: Choose the "Discount title" which is the message that appears to the client once he fills in the card details with a matching card where the discount is applicable.
Ex.:




-Here is the discount title that appears to the client on the payment page and is applied once the merchant puts in a valid card:


Do not add both( Discount Amount & Discount Percent)as this will apply both discounts on the same payment as amounts.
Example: If you applied  20 AED and 10%  on a 100 AED bill it will result in a 30AED discount instead of 10 AED.


How to apply discounts on Invoices?



You can also apply discounts for a specific amount on invoices whether on an item only or the total invoice amount.


1-Discount On Items.


You can apply discounts on an item only in case you are adding multiple items in the same invoice and don't need to apply the discount on the overall amount.




2-Discount on the total invoice amount.


You can apply the discount on the total invoice amount after adding the item/s.
