In this article, we will guide you through the QR Pay feature in the PayTabs Merchant Mobile App. This feature allows merchants to enter quickly get paid by entering the basic transaction details such as amount, currency, and description, and then generate a QR code. This QR code can be scanned or shared with customers, making the payment process quick and convenient.

This feature is supported only in our Mobile App, and it will create a one-time QR code that can be shared or scanned immediately to initiate only one payment.

How to Generate the QR Code?


A screenshot of a phone Description automatically generated-From the Home screen, navigate to the "Get Paid" section, then click on the "QR Pay" box.
 

-Next, you will be redirected to the "Create QR Pay" screen where you will be able to fill in the requested payment details clarified below:


  • REQUEST AMOUNT:   The amount you want your customer to pay
  • CURRENCY:  The currency you want your customer to pay in. Note, that you will be choosing for the configured currency in profile only.
  • QR NAME:  A name to identify this payment with.
  • DESCRIPTION: A description of the payment.

-Once you fill out these details, you should click on the "Generate QR Code" button at the bottom of the screen, and your QR Pay code will be created successfully.

How to Share/Use the Generated QR Code?


  • After following the steps mentioned in the previous section, you will be redirected to the "QR Code" screen shown here.

  • Scan the QR directly from the App:
    You can ask your customer to scan this QR directly from your app, and he will be immediately redirected to the payment page.

  • Share the link:
    You can simply click on the "Share" button at the bottom of the screen to share the link directly with your customers and once they click it, they will be redirected to the payment page.

  • Download the QR Code:
     Click on the " Download QR Code" button at the bottom of the page and the QR code file will be downloaded immediately and then you can share this QR code personally with anyone to scan it and get redirected to the payment page
