To open or activate an account on PayTabs to start accepting live payments, you should finish your Onboarding Process, and be approved as well by our team, to know more about that please check our Merchant's Onboarding Journey solution article. Part of this process is providing the required KYC documents which are different according to the region your account operates from or adding your website domain. Here's the list of the KYC required per each region along with the requirements for adding your website/domain to your PayTabs account.


KYC Per Regions


The KSA Region


  • Saudi Civil ID/IDs (if there were multiple owners)
  • Trade License Matching Website LOB.
  • MOA (only required for multiple ownership firms)
  • Bank certificate showing account title and IBAN. 
  • Tax document (if available) 

 


Passport: only required for non-residents.


The UAE Region


  • Civil ID/IDs (if there were multiple owners) + copy of passport + copy of Visa
  • Trade License Matching Website LOB.
  • MOA (only required for multiple ownership firms)
  • Bank certificate showing account title and IBAN. 
  • Tax document (if available) 
  • Merchant Application Form. 

 

The Kuwait & Oman Regions


  • Civil ID/IDs (if there were multiple owners) + copy of passport + copy of Visa
  • Proof of Address. 
  • Trade License Matching Website LOB.
  • MOA (only required for multiple ownership firms)
  • Bank certificate showing account title and IBAN. 
  • Tax document (if available) 



POA: only required when someone is signing on the behalf of the shareholder.


The Egypt Region


The KYC files in egypt is differ depending on the company type as shown below:

  • for a Multiple Ownership Company:
    • Commercial registration.
    • Tax card.
    • MOA (عقد تأسيس الشركة) if the trade license is an LLC one (More than one owner).
    • National ID/company documents for 25% and above shareholders.
    • Bank account statement/proof of bank account.

 

 

  • for a Single Ownership Company:
    • Commercial registration.
    • Tax card.
    • Owner ID / Passport.
    • Bank account statement/proof of bank account.

 


  • for Law offices, Engineering offices, and Clinics:
    • Work permit.
    • Tax card.
    • Owner ID / Passport.
    • Bank account statement/proof of bank account.

 

 

  • for Freelancers:
    • Owner ID / Passport.
    • Bank account statement/proof of bank account.


Adding Your Website Domain Requirments


The website should display: 

  • The website needs to be live, and all pages should open for review (About us /Contact us/ Terms and Conditions / Private Policy), ensure the company name is mentioned on the website 
  • Saudi Arabia merchants need to add the trade number on the website
  • App merchants will need to have an active app or submit a video record of the app
  • Websites that are still developing and password-protected will need to submit a username and password to access the website
