What you will find in this article?

Why Is My Account Being Moved to the SMB Plan?

PayTabs periodically reviews account activity to ensure each merchant is on the pricing plan best suited to their current business needs. Accounts with little or no transaction activity over the preceding review period are being transitioned from the Enterprise plan to the SMB plan, in accordance with clause 1.27 of your Merchant Agreement.

This transition is a realignment designed to match your pricing structure with your actual processing profile, while ensuring you retain full access to PayTabs' payment capabilities.

⚠️ Did you receive this notice by mistake?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to take any action?

No immediate action is required. Your account will automatically transition on 10 August 2026 if we do not hear from you.

However, please contact us before 10 July 2026 if any of the following apply:

  • You intend to resume accepting payments and need help with your integration.
  • You believe the migration does not apply to your account.
  • You wish to discuss your options or account circumstances.

Will my payment gateway stop working?

No. Your Merchant ID, API credentials, and existing integration will remain fully functional and unchanged throughout and after this transition, unless you are separately notified otherwise.

Will this affect my settlements or payouts?

No. This pricing plan change does not affect your settlement or payout process. Your existing settlement schedule and payout arrangements will remain unchanged.

If I process more than USD 2,000 in a month, will I still pay the monthly fee?

No. If your total monthly processed sales meet or exceed USD 2,000, the USD 50 monthly minimum fee will not apply for that month. The fee is conditional and only charged in months where your volume falls below the USD 2,000 threshold.

Can the monthly minimum fee be waived?

If you anticipate increased transaction volumes or have exceptional circumstances, please contact us at customercare@paytabs.com for review. Our team will assess your account on a case-by-case basis.

Can I stay on the Enterprise plan?

This migration applies to accounts identified as inactive or low-volume. If you anticipate significant processing volumes in the near future, please contact your account manager before 10 July 2026 to discuss your expected business requirements and available options.

What if I start processing transactions again?

Please let us know within 30 days of receiving your notice if you require any assistance with your integration or account setup. Our team will be happy to help ensure you are ready to process payments smoothly.

Once your monthly processing volume meets or exceeds USD 2,000, the monthly minimum fee will no longer apply for those months.

Do I need to sign a new agreement?

No additional action is required. The transition is automatic and does not require you to sign any new agreement or documentation. All other terms of your existing Merchant Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

Can I opt out of the transition?

The pricing update applies to all eligible accounts. However, if you believe your account should not be migrated, please contact us before 10 July 2026 so we can review your specific circumstances.

What if I don't respond or contact you?

If we do not hear from you before 10 July 2026, your account will automatically transition to the SMB pricing plan effective 10 August 2026. No further action is needed unless you wish to discuss your account or request a review.

Will the transition affect other features on my dashboard (invoicing, payment links, etc.)?

No. Your access to PayTabs platform features will continue under the SMB plan with no change to reporting capabilities or support tiers. This includes:

  • Cards, wallets, and split payment methods
  • Digital invoicing, payment links, and QR-based payments
  • Intelligent routing and platform optimization
  • Ongoing platform enhancements

⚠ Pending Confirmation: Whether there are feature-level differences between the Enterprise and SMB plans (e.g. reporting capabilities, dedicated support tiers, or API rate limits) has not been specified. Contact your account manager or customercare@paytabs.com if you rely on specific Enterprise-tier features.

Will this affect my multi-currency or non-AED transactions?

This pricing plan change applies to AED transactions only. Your non-AED and multi-currency terminals will not be affected by this change and will continue to operate under their existing fee structure.

Will future account reviews happen?

Yes. PayTabs will continue reviewing account activity periodically to ensure each merchant's plan remains aligned with their business needs. If your processing volumes increase significantly, you may be eligible for a plan reassessment.
