PayLinks will direct your customers to a payment page. Once your shoppers click on the secure link, they are instantly directed to a payment page, and you get paid! Noting that PayLinks are reusable, you can send it multiple times to your customers.
You can share the PayLinks on your social media accounts and send them by SMS or WhatsApp.

You can view your existing PayLinks by going to your Dashboard > PayLink.
 




Creating a PayLink from your dashboard is easy, just follow the below steps:


  1. Navigate to PayLink > click the plus button " + " on the top right corner of your index table.

  2. Fill in the essential information of the payment and then click Save.




1-Go to "PayLink" tab, choose the related PayLink from the available list.



2-Then click on the Magnifier sign on the top left side to expand the PayLink details. 



3-Click on the edit Icon " Update PayLink"




4-The next step allows you to edit any of the PayLink details as shown in the below screen, then click "Save".




-To cancel the PayLink :  Disable the "Enable PayLink" button as shown below and then click "Save".



Share the PayLink.


After creating the PayLink you can either share it with the customer via copy it and share it manually, SMS, WhatsApp, or by QR. To perform such an action first you need to choose the desired PayLink
 



Manually Via Clipboard

By clicking on the Copy to Clipboard button on the PayLink preview screen you will able to have the link that you can manually share with your customers via any of your social media accounts or copy and paste anywhere else. 

 


Via SMS or WhatsApp 

  1. Click on the SMS button/or WhatsApp on the PayLink preview screen

  2. Then provide a valid customer's phone number and click send.
  3. For WhatsApp: you will be redirected to the WhatsApp page where you will need to log in to your WhatsApp number.

    The message will appear as shown in the below example 

    Note: you can edit the message before you click send. 


     



Via QR Code

By clicking on the "Download QR" button on the PayLink preview screen you will be able to share this QR Code manually with the customers.

 




PayLinks provide multiple useful features such as :

Donation Mode


 


Requires Shipping details


This feature will require the buyer to enter the shipping details at the time of payment.



When PayLink is enabled means it is active to be used for payment while disabling the PayLink means the payment link is no longer available to be used for payment.


PayLink status will show as "Active" when it is enabled



If you disabled the Paylink by deactivating the "Enable PayLink button", customers won't be able to use the PayLink and will get an error message once they open the PayLink :

Here is how an inactive PayLink will appear in your Merchant's Dashboard. 


 If the PayLink is disabled, this is the error message that will show up for the customer. 


-Note: PayLinks cannot be deleted from your PayTabs dashboard, however you can disable the PayLink or enable it anytime upon your needs or edit the details of the PayLink.

-The Enable and Disable action is reversible for PayLinks, unlike for invoices.



Discount


When creating payink, you might add a discount as an amount or as a percentage.



Card Filter


The card filter allows you to determine specific cards to use for paying a specific PayLink


Payment method filter

You can use this to control what payment methods are offered on the payment page. By default, all available methods are shown.


OpenGraph Support

 

OpenGraph enhances how links look when shared on social media. It allows control over the title and description text used and allows a high-resolution image to be attached. 

Merchants can upload a specific custom image for each link. If enabled, then the link display on the dashboard includes buttons to share the link, currently, this is tested and working with Facebook and Twitter. The link can still be directly shared as before, and if shared directly would still provide the enhanced view on Facebook/Twitter if the link has OpenGraph enabled.
