In this section, we will guide you through the PayLinks menu. PayLinks directs your customers to a secured payment page. When shoppers click on the link, they are instantly taken to the payment page, ensuring you receive payments promptly. Since PayLinks are reusable, you can send them to your customers multiple times. You can also share PayLinks on your social media accounts or send them via SMS or WhatsApp for added convenience.

In this article, you will get to know about:

The grid view:

  • Open the PayTabs app and login.

  • From the Home screen, click "PayLinks".

  • Once you open PayLinks, you will find the message "No PayLinks Found" or a List of PayLinks items if they exist.

  • Each existing PayLink will be displayed including the following:
    • Title
    • Cart ID
    • Amount
    • Date


Create a new PayLink:

  • From the PayLinks screen, on the top right corner, click on the plus icon "+".


  • Fill in the essential information of the payment.
    • Title
    • Cart ID
    • Cart Description
    • Amount

  • Then click the Create PayLink button.
  • You will be redirected to a screen where you can:
    • Share the PayLink:
      A sheet will display, this could vary from one device to another, however, you will be able to share the PayLink through all your social channels, including SMS, etc.

    • Or Copy the PayLink.

Or share the PayLink option

View, Edit &Share the PayLink:

  • Open the PayTabs app and login.

  • From the Home screen, click PayLinks.

  • Once you open PayLinks, you will find a list of PayLinks items.

  • Select the desired PayLink item, and you will find all its details.

  • You can share the PayLink or view the QR code
  • To Edit the PayLink item, from the PayLink item view, press the edit (Pen) icon on the top right corner.

  • The Edit form will display, after making your updates press Save PayLink button. 

PayLink Feature:

PayLinks provides with s multiple useful features such as: 

Donation Mode:


If you choose the "Donation Mode" follow the below instructions:

  • Enable the "DONATION MODE" option.
  • Then you will have to provide a minimum and maximum amount that the customer can donate using this PayLink.

Requires Shipping:


This feature will require the buyer to enter the shipping details at the time of payment.


If this feature is disabled, customers won't have to provide their shipping address during the payment process.

OpenGraph:


OpenGraph enhances how links look when shared on social media. It allows control over the title and description text used and allows a high-resolution image to be attached. 


Merchants can upload a specific custom image for each link. If enabled, then the link display on the dashboard includes buttons to share the link, currently, this is tested and working with Facebook and Twitter. The link can still be directly shared as before, and if shared directly would still provide the enhanced view on Facebook/X if the link has OpenGraph enabled.


Here are how the links should look like when shared on social media.


 

Discount:


When creating PayLink, you can add a discount as an amount or as a percentage when customers pay with specific cards.


This discount will apply to any card prefixes you set you can provide more than one card prefix separated by a comma for example: 40000,41111

Card filter:


The card filter allows you to determine specific cards to use for paying a specific PayLink.


Payment method filter:



You can use this to control what payment methods are offered on the payment page. 
By default, all available methods are shown.
