(E): User can't switch the profile

Most probably this error occurred because the user is linked to one specific profile (Test or Live) only. Where it should be linked to "Any". So, the user can switch to multiple profiles.

How to investigate the reason that caused this error?

From your merchant dashboard, navigate to the "Team" menu and click on your name.


You need to check the field "Profile" whether it is assigned to one profile or any profile "Any".



You need to check whether your user is linked to one profile, if true. Then, you need to link your user to "any" profile. Kindly follow the steps to link your user to "Any" profiles.

  1. From your merchant dashboard, navigate to the menu "Team" and click on your name.




  2. Click on the button "Edit". 



  3. Enable both "Test" & "Live" from the options field.
  4. Choose "Any" from the "Profile" field
  5. Click on the Submit button.



You need to make the "profile" option "Any" to make the user able to switch between profiles. 



Reason#2: The merchant cannot see the "profile" option

Normally the "profile" field should be there if it does not exist like in the image below. Kindly share this issue with "customercare@paytabs.com".
